Workout Descriptions:
BootCamp: Fun and functional Total Body Circuit Training that can burn 800 – 1200 calories a session using the various pieces of equipment at G.I. Gym. This class is always on the go and never the same routine.
TRX Suspension Trainer : The suspension trainer is a highly versatile piece of equipment that utilizes your own body weight to build true functional strength and improve flexibility, balance and core stability all at once.
MMA Fitness: This Mixed Martial Arts/ Cuircut Training Class gets you fighting fit! Train like a fighter on our 6ft 100lb heavy bags, 75lb & 100lb Ground and pound bags and more.
Cross Training / Oly Lifting: Not For the weak! this Class will push you to your lmits with Olyimpic lifts, Plyometrics, Advanced kettlebell moves and much more! must come in with an open mind and ready to learn advanced weight training techniqes.
Kickboxing / Abs & Core: high intensity Kickboxing. core and Abs workouts using multiple tools and techniques on the heavybag.
Cardio Kickboxing: Punch and kick your way to a solid core while gaining speed, strength, agility, and coordination.
Tabata: This is a High Intensity training technique using 20 second bursts of maximum intensity work with a 10 second rest period repeated 8 times in a row.
Equipment uses:
Barbells and Bumper plates: Used for Olympic Lifts, Explosive Power, Athletic performance, Strength and conditioning.
Atlas Stones: Used for Strongman athletics such as Cleans, Podium Lifts and carries.
Plyo Boxes: A wooden box that has 3 different sizes in one, 20″, 24″ and 30″ heights, Lower boy plyometrics builds explosive power, speed and agility.
Kettle Bells: The Russian Kettle Bell is a cast iron weight resembling a cannon ball with a handle. It’s used to perform ballistic exercises that combine cardiovascular, strength, and flexibility training.
Sandbags: Unstable, unbalanced and oddly shaped weighted duffel bags which make it a unique and challenging piece of equipment.
Sledgehammers: A great primal workout tool. Swinging a weight on a stick makes for a great full range of motion exercise.
Battle Ropes: A 1.5″ heavy polyester rope that you fight to keep moving. This equipment has proved itself as a training tool on professional football fields and the MMA. circuit.
OTR Tires: Off The Road Tires are huge and heavy, used for plyometrics workouts increasing your explosive energy and speed.
